1) MAPin is hosting a FREE (lunch included) summer boot camp for high school students June 10-14 at the SJECCD Milpitas Extension Center. The boot camp is focusing on STEM and Design Thinking. Please see attached flyer with additional details and a registration link


FLIP GRID - Due this week
Go to and answer the following questions.  You will be put into teams of 2-3 and you will have to answer all 3 questions... but each team member will be responsible for one question.  These will be assigned at random... so all team members will need to be able to answer any of the questions. Give a solid 90 sec in depth explanation.  Then if we think you need to redo it, we will have your team re-answer, but we will reassign randomly a different question.  So  make sure you take your time to do a good job. 
1) How does the SR latch work using the 2 NOR gate?
2) How is the D Latch different than the SR latch?
3) What is the differences between the D Latch and D Flip Flop... and how does the D Flip Flop work

Open LAB  and/or Robot Club 
  • LAB - Duration: 30 Min
  • Link: Robot Club Google Sites
  • Instructions & Expectations: Connect with your Robot Club Team.  You will either be working on your Robot Project or an Open Lab Project.  
    • You will need to account for your time. You will need to convince me by your form submission that you worked given the time allotted. 
    • If  you or your Robot Club Team worked on the Robot Club project, you will make sure your Robot Project Status Google docs are updated.  
    • If you worked on an Open Lab Project, you will also need to tell me about what you accomplished and what you are planning next.
  • How to Submit Assignment:   Each Student needs to account for your time.  
  • Dig Deeper: Open Lab:
Clean Up
  • Assignment - Duration: 2-10 Min
  • Instructions & Expectations: Desk cleanup, put away all projects, find your assigned job
  • How to Submit Assignment: When Complete, check yourself off on Sign Out Sheet - 2 Points
