Entry Ticket - Pick a class magazine and pick an interesting article... Tell me what you found and why it was interesting?
- Assignment - Duration: 30 Min

- Instructions & Expectations: What is the Goal of this assignment? It is so you can see some of the technology out in the industry.
- You can work on this with a partner (groups of 2 only) if you want, but turn in your own work. Please pick an interesting article, tutorial, or even a specific sensor or device. I'm hoping you will find a topic, application or project that you might want to build latter.
- To do some research using the magazines (tell me the magazine name, date that you used)
- Pick something interesting from the magazines, and then look up more about it on line
- write a 200+ paragraph or bullet points on what you found and learned
- How to Submit Assignment: Go to your Google Classroom and answer the question for today - 10 Points
- LAB - Duration: 40-60 Min

- Instructions & Expectations: Go to the Google class link https://applieddigitalskills.withgoogle.com/en/digital-training and log in with your @metroed account. do the lesson Technology's Role in Current Events. Follow the instructions. If you get stuck, please save any presentation work in your Google Drive in your @metroed.net account.
- How to Submit Assignment: Follow the Instruction in the lesson. If you have issues, we will work them out on Tuesday. Save all your work
- LAB - Duration: 40-60 Min
- Instructions & Expectations:
- Every One will have Safety Glasses... Please make sure Every one is using them
- Work on taking a printer apart. The goal is to save any cool stuff. Motor assemblies, Sensors, Switches, cool interfaces, boards and wires
- Don't strip the motors down to just the motor... keep it attached to the assemblies it attached to. Keep any wires attached.
- You can work as a team of 2.
- Virtually all the plastic will go in the trash can. If it's cool and you want to keep it, save it and we can decide on Tuesday
- Any Metal not attached to something you are saving will go in the blue bins
- Any boards and wire you are not saving also goes in one of the blue bins
- How to Submit Assignment: Save cool stuff in your personal Class bin, or if it's too big, just set it on the table in the back.
- Assignment - Duration: 15 Min
- Instructions & Expectations: Desk cleanup, put away all projects, find your assigned job
- How to Submit Assignment: When Complete, check yourself off on Sign Out Sheet - 2 Points
